Markinios Might Return to Arsenal Six Months Ahead of Schedule
According to a report from "Le Parisien," Markinios could return to Arsenal six months earlier than initially planned.
In the summer of 2023, Markinios was loaned to Nantes by the Gunners, and now both clubs are in discussions to end this loan spell, allowing the player to return to the Emirates Stadium in January.
Markinios has had limited playing time this season, featuring in only seven matches for Nantes, accumulating a total of 149 minutes on the pitch. The lack of game time may be one of the reasons for both parties discussing an early termination of the loan.
Additionally, Markinios has expressed a desire to participate in the Olympic Games qualifiers. If he competes, he would be unavailable for Nantes' matches, adding another factor to the negotiations between Nantes and Arsenal to terminate the loan early.
