A place in the final of the AFC Asian Cup is the prize as Jordan battle South Korea in a semi-final fixture on Tuesday. Korea are yet to taste defeat in the competition and driven by the impressive Son Heung-Min, they should have the edge in a closely fought encounter.

South Korea needed extra-time before seeing off Australia 2-1 in their quarter-final clash. They fought back from a goal down with Hwang Hee-Chan drawing them level deep into injury time before Son Heung-Min struck the winner.

Seeking their first Asian Cup title since 1960, South Korea have been solid in this year’s competition. They are yet to taste defeat so far having come through difficult clashes against the likes of Australia and hosts Saudi Arabia.

The great thing for South Korea is that star attackers like Hwang Hee-Chan, Lee Kang-In and Son Heung-Min have all impressed so far. However they have struggled defensively and are without a single clean sheet in the competition.
