Andrés Iniesta and Bojan are set to join forces to acquire a Danish Superliga club
According to reports, Andrés Iniesta and Bojan, former teammates at Barcelona and Vissel Kobe, are set to join forces to acquire a Danish Superliga club.
Information from Danish media outlet Tipsbladet suggests that negotiations led by Iniesta's company "Never Say Never" to purchase the Danish club Helsing are in the final stages, with Bojan also being one of the partners in this venture. The report states that "Never Say Never" will acquire 85% of the club's shares, while the current owner, Hogau, will retain the remaining 15%.
The deal is valued at approximately 15 million Danish kroner (around 2 million euros). This acquisition could potentially rescue Helsing from a bleak future, as they currently sit at the bottom of the Danish 1st Division (second tier) and are now facing relegation playoffs to avoid dropping to the 2nd Division.
