James Rodriguez to Discuss Contract Termination with Sao Paulo
According to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra's report, James Rodriguez will discuss the termination of his contract with Sao Paulo.
The 32-year-old James joined Sao Paulo as a free agent last summer, signing a contract that expires in June 2025. Since then, James has made 22 appearances for Sao Paulo, contributing 2 goals and 4 assists. According to Pipe Sierra, James is likely to leave Sao Paulo, and the two parties will meet in the coming days to try to reach an agreement on an early termination.
James's team is already looking for a new club for him. Although James's existing contract will not expire until June next year, both he and Sao Paulo hope to reach a win-win agreement.
Since 2019, James has played for six teams including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Everton, Al Rayyan, Olympiacos, and Sao Paulo.
