Barcelona to Pay Bayern €1.25 Million
Barcelona secured a 3-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano in La Liga's 37th round, with Robert Lewandowski scoring his 25th goal of the season, which will result in Bayern Munich receiving a €1.25 million bonus.
Lewandowski quickly scored in the match against Rayo Vallecano, helping Barcelona take an early lead. This goal marked his 18th in La Liga this season and his 25th across all competitions.
Recently, *Mundo Deportivo* reported that if Lewandowski scored 25 goals this season, Barcelona would need to pay Bayern €1.25 million. When Lewandowski joined Barcelona in 2022, his transfer fee was €45 million, with an additional €5 million in bonus clauses linked to his goal tally.
Now, for the second consecutive season, Lewandowski has triggered this bonus clause, requiring Barcelona to pay Bayern another €1.25 million. To date, Lewandowski has made 94 appearances for Barcelona, contributing 58 goals and 17 assists.
