Marco Reus rejects Charlotte FC
Sources have stressed to Transfermarkt that Marco Reus has no desire to join Major League Soccer club Charlotte FC. While the sources confirmed a report by The Athletic, that Charlotte FC hold Reus’ discovery rights, they also stated that the 34-year-old Dortmund legend is pursuing other options.
Reus has already announced that he is going to leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season. Recent performances in the Bundesliga and the Champions League means that the forward has several options to continue his career.
Other than MLS clubs, Reus also has options in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and in Europe. Before the forward will make a final decision, the full focus will be on the Champions League final at Wembley against Real Madrid on June 1.

Reus will leave Dortmund as a club legend. The forward has scored 170 goals in 428 games across all competitions. Ahead of this season, the 34-year-old gave up his captaincy but still managed to score nine goals and ten assists in 41 games across all competitions for Dortmund and helped guide his club to the Champions League final.
