Albania's head coach Sylvinho attended the press conference
In the third round of the European Championship group stage, Albania lost 0-1 to Spain. After the match, Albania's head coach, Sylvinho, attended the press conference.
Sylvinho said, "I am proud of my players and my country. This is our second time participating in this competition. We successfully competed against three great national teams. Spain is a very strong team, with skillful players in midfield, fast players on the flanks, and their attack is very threatening. We haven't seen such a Spanish team in recent years. Their tactics are very mature, their speed is very fast, and they excel in defensive transitions. They are a strong team and a candidate to win all honors."
Sylvinho continued, "I lost a lot of sleep preparing for this match, but we competed at a high level, and the country should be proud of that. We need to get used to participating in such competitions. We might have conceded four or five goals against these teams, but we didn't, and I am proud of that. My players gave everything on the field, and they will remember this experience for the rest of their lives. They will think about it the next time they play. No one feels ashamed. We competed at the highest level. As a coach, they were perfect for me; it was a golden performance."
