The German police responded to Tedesco's complaint

Previously, Belgium coach Tedesco complained that the team took an hour to travel from the hotel to the stadium under police escort, leaving insufficient time for warm-ups and team talks. The German police responded to this issue.

During a press conference, Tedesco stated, "I want to add something about our arrival at the stadium, especially how we arrived. I have never seen such a situation. We took one hour from the hotel to the sports complex under police escort. They did not use sirens, and although the roads were clear, they slowed down to 20 to 25 kilometers per hour and stopped at every red light."

"So, I could only make a one-and-a-half-minute speech, and we had to shorten the warm-up time because obviously the match could not be delayed. It's unbelievable to me. It put immense pressure on staff and players. Nevertheless, we still managed to advance, which is the most important thing."

In response, the German police stated they were acting in accordance with UEFA's requirements: "This is because UEFA requires a ten-minute interval between the arrival times of the two teams. UEFA issued an emergency order to shorten this time at the last minute, otherwise the Belgian team would have arrived even later. We informed them of this situation two days ago."
