Szczesny has agreed to join Barcelona
According to Jose Alvarez Haya from Spanish broadcaster La Sexta, former Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny has agreed to join Barcelona and will become a Barca player next week.
Previously, Barça goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen suffered a severe injury and has undergone surgery, which could keep him sidelined for 7-8 months. The 34-year-old Szczęsny had chosen to retire this summer, with a market value of €6 million before his retirement. Last season, he made 35 appearances for Juventus, all as a starter.
Szczesny has played for various teams, including Arsenal's youth and first teams, Brentford, Roma, and Juventus, making 181 appearances for Arsenal and 252 appearances for Juventus.
