Last weekend, Roma achieved a long-awaited victory in the new season. In the opening games, the "Giallorossi" were unimpressive, dropping points even at home against less formidable opponents, but that didn't stop the team from demolishing Udinese, one of the leaders of the Italian Championship (3-0). Against Udinese, Roma looked like Barcelona in their prime, dominating every part of the field and could have won by an even larger score. It cannot be denied that the team was shaken by the dismissal of Daniele De Rossi and the appointment of Ivan Jurić as head coach, although there was plenty of dissatisfaction with this reshuffling. Regarding the upcoming clash, the Croatian specialist can rely on all players except Alexis Saelemaekers (ankle injury).
Athletic Bilbao
In the opening matches of the new season, Athletic showed quite acceptable results. After seven games, the "Basques" have collected 13 points and sit in third place – only Real Madrid and Barcelona are above them. Special attention should be given to the last three matches.
