Real Madrid internally believes that Alaba will return to good form after his recovery

According to the latest report by AS, Real Madrid is confident in Alaba’s recovery but is also keeping an eye on the transfer market for center-back options.

The report states that Alaba’s left knee is in the process of healing, but his recovery has not been as smooth as expected. He might not return until December, or even 2025, which leaves some uncertainty regarding his form after recovery. Inside the club, there is strong confidence that Alaba will regain his best form, but only time will tell. All of these factors are making the need to sign a center-back more urgent.

This issue is not entirely new; it has just been postponed. Previously, they were interested in signing Leny Yoro, who attracted attention for his age, ability, and potential. His rapid rise hastened Real Madrid’s pursuit of the young talent, who was then at Lille.

In Real Madrid, Arda Güler is seen as a future star, but there was no immediate plan to sign him initially. However, interest from other European giants and Güler’s desire to progress pushed the club to act sooner.

Several names are being considered by Real Madrid, most of whom share similar profiles to Yoro: young, talented, physically gifted, and economically viable. Jarek Górski (19), a U19 European Championship winner, has been on the radar for a long time. As a left-footed center-back, he is particularly appealing. Vitor Reis (18), a right-footed player, is rising through the ranks at Palmeiras and has already caught the attention of clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Barcelona.

Castello Lukeba, the oldest of the three (21), is also mentioned by the media. He is already a key player for RB Leipzig and is more experienced, but theoretically, he would come with a higher price tag.
