Suarez: "I would be very happy if I could extend my contract."
Recently, Luis Suárez gave an interview to Major League Soccer's official media, where he expressed his desire to extend his contract with Inter Miami. When discussing the possibility of a contract extension, Suárez said: "I know my lawyer is in communication with the club, but I want to finish this season in peace. I want to end the season in the best way possible and show the club my passion. I feel good physically, and I’m eager to continue being a part of this club’s history."
"Whether or not I renew depends on the club. For me, if an extension happens, I’d be very happy."Speaking about reuniting with Messi, Suárez said: "I’m very happy. You have to enjoy every moment of playing with the best player in the world — not just me, but all the teammates who get to train with him every day."
"We are honored, and so are the people who have the chance to meet him. Even those who travel across the U.S. just to see him once are honored. That speaks volumes about his influence." As for the upcoming playoffs, Suárez commented: "We don’t see ourselves as the favorites, but we must stay strong at home because every match will be decisive. There’s a reason we earned the most points in the regular season."
