Cafu Faces €3.3 Million Debt, Might Auction Mansion at Half Price to Settle Debts
According to reports from Brazilian media outlet Uol, former Brazil national team captain and ex-Roma and AC Milan player Cafu is facing significant debts and may have to sell his mansion at half price to settle them.
The report claims that Cafu's total debt currently amounts to €3.3 million. Despite efforts through his lawyer to avoid the auction of his mansion, Cafu has so far been unable to overturn the court's ruling, and the auction is scheduled for April 4th.
Further details from Uol indicate that Cafu's mansion, valued at €7.4 million, will be auctioned off at its actual value. However, if it fails to sell, the auction price will be halved to €3.7 million in order to settle Cafu and his company's debts.
At 53 years old, Cafu played for various clubs during his career, including São Paulo, Real Zaragoza, Juventus, Palmeiras, Roma, and AC Milan. Additionally, he made 143 appearances for the Brazil national team.
