The schedule for the 2024 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup

The schedule for the 2024 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup has been confirmed by FIFA, with Colombia hosting the eleventh edition of the tournament.

The 2024 U20 Women's World Cup in Colombia will take place from August 31st to September 22nd in the Colombian capital, Bogota, and the country's second-largest city, Medellin. This edition marks the first tournament held since FIFA announced an increase in participating teams from 16 to 24, and it is the second time the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup is hosted by a South American Football Confederation nation, following Chile 16 years ago. The opening match will be held on August 31st at the El Campin Stadium in Bogota, with the final also scheduled for September 22nd at the same venue, which previously hosted the final of the 2011 FIFA U20 World Cup.

The 24 participating teams are confirmed: Colombia, Australia, Austria, Cameroon, Canada, Costa Rica, Fiji, France, Germany, Ghana, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Spain, United States, Venezuela, Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil. As the host nation, Colombia's U20 women's team will play their first two group stage matches in Group A in Bogota on August 31st and September 3rd, with their third group stage match scheduled for September 6th in Medellin.

These 24 teams will be divided into six groups, with the top two teams from each group, as well as the four best third-placed teams, advancing to the round of 16 to compete for the ultimate championship.
