Barcelona Women's Team Extends Contract with Alexia Putellas Until Summer 2026
Official announcement from Barcelona: FC Barcelona and Alexia Putellas have reached an agreement for the player to remain at the club for another two seasons, until June 30, 2026, with an option to activate a third-year extension.
Putellas is not only one of the greatest players in Barcelona's history but also one of the greatest female players of all time. She has scored 189 goals for Barcelona, more than any other player, and now has at least two more years to continue setting new records.
On Tuesday, the 2021 and 2022 Ballon d'Or winner signed the new contract accompanied by the club's president, Joan Laporta.
