Sommer Undergoes Injury Assessment Today

According to reports from the Milan Sports Daily, Inter Milan's primary goalkeeper Sommer, who sustained an injury while on international duty with the Swiss national team, will undergo an injury assessment today local time.

The 35-year-old Sommer was substituted off just 37 minutes into the friendly match between Switzerland and Denmark due to injury. Subsequently, he left the national team training camp early and returned to Inter Milan.

Now, as per the Milan Sports Daily, Sommer is set to undergo an injury assessment on Monday. However, it's almost certain that he will miss Inter Milan's Serie A match against Empoli in the 30th round next week. In his absence, it's expected that Odriozola will start in goal.
